Lead with transferable impact
Rather than a chronological list of past job duties, foreground the outcomes and skills that transfer directly — project delivery, people management, budget ownership, client relationships.
Use a short summary to bridge the gap
Two or three sentences at the top of the resume, naming the change directly and stating your case, does more work than any amount of rearranged bullet points.
