Why it's worth sending
A good follow-up rarely wins an offer outright, but it can tip a close decision, and its absence is sometimes read as a lack of interest.
What to include
Thank the interviewer for their time, reference one specific thing you discussed, and briefly restate why you're a strong fit — not a generic "great speaking with you."
Timing and length
Send it within 24 hours, keep it to a few sentences, and send one per interviewer if you met several people. Skip anything that reads like a second cover letter.
